July 24 - 28
The Canadian Mathematical Society has been offering engaging camps all across Canada for decades. The goal of the Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) is to promote and advance the discovery, learning and application of mathematics.
We wish to create an environment for children to develop a passion for mathematics through exciting mathematical challenges with positive role models while building new friendships. This camp curriculum was created by CMS members, including local teachers and editor of our popular ATOM series of mathematical journals. This camp is open for anyone who wishes to attend!
There will be 3 age groups available:
Grades 4-5
Grades 6-7
Grades 8-9
Depending on the interest, we may open up the next week for a camp as well.

Some of the topics we will explore include geometric constructions and patterns; secret codes; puzzles and mathematical games of strategy. Campers will enjoy the greenspace, in between activities. They will get to know one another and their mentors through icebreakers and games.
Camps take place between
8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.
Optional, extended hours are available at no additional charge from:
8:00 – 8:30 AM and/or
4:00 – 4:30 PM
- Summer Day Camps will take place at Carleton University in the classrooms. All groups will be in the same building. The location will be sent out by email to each group before the camp begins. Campers will be in the classroom most of the day and will go outside periodically for fresh air breaks. The days will be filled with amazing math games, activities, and fun.
All groups are $425/person for the entire week.
Included in the price, all campers receive:
- Their very own swag bag including a t-shirt, and activities
- A pizza lunch on Friday!
- Nut-free snacks provided by CMS
