High-performing problem solvers in Canadian mathematics competitions are highly prized by our universities. At the CMS, we strongly encourage such students graduating from secondary school to consider staying in Canada for undergraduate studies. Some Canadian universities have made us aware† of special Scholarship Opportunities for such students.

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences in collaboration with the Mathematics Department at the University of Toronto have recently established a full-ride undergraduate fellowship (tuition and incidentals) for all Canadian IMO team members, including members (not yet known) of the 2026 IMO Team, as well as team members from previous years.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, you have to apply for full-time regular undergraduate admission before the deadline (January 15, 2026), through the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Mathematics and Physics Program.
