The following are the current calls for nominations. Click on the call below to view all requirements, documents and instructions to submit a nomination. All documents must be received by the deadline date to be considered. If a nomination is received late, it will be forwarded to the next year as long as eligibility is for that year.

Call for Nominations for the Doctoral Prize

Deadline: Jan 31 The CMS invites nominations for the CMS Blair Spearman Doctoral Prize. The prize recognizes outstanding performance by a doctoral student who graduated from a Canadian university in the preceding year.

Call for Nominations for the Graham Wright Award

Deadline: Mar 31 The CMS invites nominations for the 2020 Graham Wright Distinguished Service Award. The award recognizes individuals who have made sustained and significant contributions to the Canadian mathematical community and, in particular, to the Canadian Mathematical Society.

Call for Nominations for the Fellows of the CMS

Deadline: Mar 31 The CMS invites nominations for Fellows of the CMS. The Fellowship recognises CMS members who have made excellent contributions to mathematical research, teaching, or exposition; as well as having distinguished themselves in service to Canada’s mathematical community.

Call for Nominations for the Adrien Pouliot Award

Deadline: Apr 30 The CMS invites nominations for the Adrien Pouliot Award. Each year, the award recognizes an individual or team of individuals who have made significant and sustained contributions to mathematics education in Canada.
