Three (3) Limited Term Appointments

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications for three (3) ninemonth Limited Term Appointments at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 15, 2022.


The successful candidates will have or be nearing completion of a PhD in Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
The preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching math and/or stats to undergraduate students from varied disciplines and they must provide evidence of a promising program of research. The Department is seeking candidates who are committed to contributing to StFX’s priorities of
equity, divers
ity, and inclusion. Demonstrated ability in attracting underrepresented groups of students and fostering a climate of inclusion in the classroom is an asset.


St. Francis Xavier University is a topranked Canadian undergraduate institution located in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
