SIGNIFICANT UPDATE ON CMS COMMUNICATIONS

OTTAWA, Ontario – The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) is very excited to introduce its new weekly newsletter, “Math Matters”. With its first edition being distributed Friday, April 5, this newsletter will serve as a platform to keep the mathematical community updated on announcements, calls, submissions, events, and more.

With Math Matters, the CMS hopes to streamline communication by consolidating most updates into one comprehensive weekly edition, thereby reducing the frequency of emails received by our members. Math Matters will normally be distributed on Fridays, to all members of the CMS, as well as subscribers of the cmath mailing list.

Math Matters will also feature job advertisements, which will be showcased in the newsletter.
