In Memoriam – Walter Craig

The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS) is saddened to share the news of the passing of distinguished professor Walter Craig (McMaster). Professor Craig was a valuable member of the Society for several years and served as the Director of the Fields Institute from 2013-2015. Dr. Craig was a professor at McMaster University’s Department of Mathematics and Statistics. He will be missed by his family and friends and by the wider mathematical community.
