Assistant, Associate and Full Professorships

Technion – Israel Institute of Technology manages the academics of a new university established in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, China http://www.gtiit.edu.cn/en. GTIIT will follow the academic model of the campus in Haifa, Israel, dedicated to science and technology, research and education. The language of instruction is English.

GTIIT has established undergraduate programs in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology & Food Engineering and Materials Engineering. An undergraduate program in Mathematics (major) with Computer Science (minor) is expected to start in October 2020.

GTIIT is founding the Center for Advanced Theoretical Sciences which is fully committed to strong research and high level teaching. We expect the center to have research activities such as “special semesters in designated topics”, “international conferences” and “summer schools for graduate students and post docs”.

Tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks for exceptional candidates are now available as members of the center in the following areas:

• Pure and applied mathematics
• Theoretical physics
• Theoretical chemistry
• Theoretical computer science
• Information systems, data science and theory of networking

Members of the center will be involved in research activities at the center, supervision graduate students and teaching undergraduate courses.
