The CMS supports activities that promote the learning of mathematics among Canadian youth. In addition to hosting its own math competitions, the CMS offers math competition grants for activities at the elementary and secondary school levels.
Applications are now closed for the 2026 Competition Grants.
Deadline for applications: November 15, 2025
Estimated date decisions will be sent to applicants: February 2026
Estimated date grant funds will be distributed: March 2026
Applications will open on June 1, 2026, for grants awarded in winter 2026/2027.
