American Mathematics Competitions (MAA)

The Mathematical Association of America (MAA) offers many competitions that welcome Canadian participation:
- The AMC 8 – For grades 6-8 and motivated younger students.
- The AMC 10 – For grades 9-10 and motivated younger students.
- The AMC 12 – For high school students.
- The American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) – For high school students (by invitation only). Students are invited based on their results in the AMC 10 and AMC 12.
- The United States of America Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO) – For high school students (by invitation only). Students are invited based on their results in the AIME and AMC 12.
- The United States of America Junior Mathematical Olympiad (USAJMO) – For students in grade 10 and below (by invitation only). Students are invited based on their results in the AIME and AMC 10.
