“How being chased by Ralph, Rex, and the nurses, did not prevent me from becoming a teacher of mathematics”  [PDF]

What can be more beautiful or elegant, yet still mysterious, than the distribution of prime numbers, reciprocity laws in number theory, calculations of volumes of solids, and the structure of Galois groups? What can be better and more delightful than sharing these explorations, challenges, and dreams with students? In order to be able to become a mathematician, I experienced a few trips filled with adventures and narrow escapes. I would like to share with you my personal road to the teaching of mathematics and what I have learned on this road so far.
