The University of Toronto Mississauga solicits applications for a senior position in the Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences, to begin July 1, 2010. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.

The main areas of research interest are: dynamical systems, geometrical analysis, applied and computational mathematics, geometry, and algebra/number theory; however, exceptional candidates in any field of pure and applied mathematics are encouraged to apply.

It is intended that the successful applicants will be nominated for a Canada Research Chair. Accordingly, candidates are expected to be outstanding mathematicians, whose research and teaching will make major contributions to the quality and stature of the department.

Applicants should send their complete C.V. including a list of publications, a short statement describing their research program, all appropriate material about their teaching, the AMS Standard Cover Sheet and four letters of recommendation should be submitted online at;
