Limited Term Position

The Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications for a Limited Term appointment. The term of the appointment is from August 15, 2015 to May 14, 2016. Applicants should hold a PhD (or a nearly completed PhD) in Mathematics or Statistics or a closely related field. The candidate must show a strong commitment to teaching. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will be teaching introductory courses at the undergraduate level in Mathematics and Statistics.

Applicants should provide a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching interests and philosophy, a statement of research interests and the contact information for three references.
