    Tenure-Track Position in the area of Automorphic Forms and Metric Geometry

The Mathematics Department at the University of British Columbia is seeking outstanding, experienced candidates for one position in the area of Automorphic Forms and Metric Geometry, at the tenure-track Assistant Professor level, with a starting date of July 1, 2015.

The position requires a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or a related discipline, prior experience of at least 3 years at the Assistant Professor level, and an outstanding internationally recognized research track record, with publications in top journals in the field.

The successful applicant is expected to work in an area of interest to current faculty, to interact with related groups in the Department and will have experience teaching effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervising graduate students and obtaining external funding. The salary will be commensurate with experience and research record.
