Professor of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Mathematics in analysis or probability.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to teach at all three levels of the curriculum, supervise graduate students, engage in ongoing research and publication, and contribute to the academic life and reputation of the institution.

Deadline
The complete application, including a cover letter, curriculum vitæ, copies of publications, a statement regarding the candidate's research program and a presentation of the candidate's teaching experience and philosophy, must be received at the address below by November 5th, 2013.

Professeure ou professeur en mathématiques
Le Département de mathématiques et de statistique sollicite des candidatures pour occuper un poste à temps plein de professeure ou de professeur de mathématiques en analyse ou en probabilités au rang d'adjoint.

Fonctions
Les candidats seront appelés à enseigner aux trois cycles, à encadrer des étudiants aux études supérieures, à poursuivre des activités de recherche, de publication et de rayonnement ainsi qu'à contribuer aux activités de l'institution.

Clôture du concours
Le dossier de candidature, constitué d'une lettre de motivation, d'un curriculum vitæ, d'un exemplaire de publications ou de travaux de recherche récents, d'un exposé du programme de recherche ainsi que d'une présentation de l'expérience et de la philosophie de l'enseignement, doit parvenir au département par courrier électronique (direction@dms.umontreal.ca) ou à l'adresse ci-dessous au plus tard le 5 novembre 2013.
