    Tenure-Track Position in Analysis

The School of Mathematics and Statistics at Carleton University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in analysis. The start date is open to negotiation, but will be no later than July 1, 2014.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics and a strong commitment to excellence in research and teaching. The School is particularly interested in broadly based individuals who specialize in the theory of partial differential equations and/or dynamical systems, and who are able to interact with the School's research groups in both applied and theoretical analysis.

In addition, the School is interested in candidates whose research can be connected to the themes of focus of the Carleton University Strategic Plan (See http://www2.carleton.ca/about/cu/wp-content/uploads/strategic_plan_final.pdf). However, the primary and fundamental criterion will be excellence and strength in analysis.
