Canadian and International Awards:
All official participants writing from locations in Canada compete for Canadian awards, including the overall national awards, as well as grade-specific and province/region-specific awards.
Official participants writing from locations outside of Canada (for example, USA or UK or China) compete for International awards, which recognize high achievement independent of grade. Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents writing outside Canada compete for the International awards only, not the Canadian awards.
See our Awards page for more details.
