Limited-Term Position in Analysis
The Department is seeking candidates with established accomplishments and outstanding promise of further research productivity in Analysis with priority in the areas of non-commutative harmonic analysis, non-commutative probability or related fields. The research expertise of the applicant should interface well with the existing research strength within the Department. Applicants must have a doctoral degree. The successful candidate will teach courses in mathematics and must demonstrate excellence or promise of excellence in teaching. The College of Arts and Science offers a dynamic combination of programs in the humanities and fine arts, the social sciences and the natural sciences. At least one letter of reference should include detailed comments on the teaching abilities of the applicant. Candidates are also encouraged to supply a research statement and a teaching statement.
