    Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Probability

Advertisement for CRC2 in Probability

The Mathematics Department at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver) is seeking outstanding candidates for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair, with a starting date of July 1, 2017. The successful candidate will have a recent PhD (typically obtained in the last ten years), and a record of world-class research accomplishments in mathematics, and will be expected to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to supervise graduate students. The priority research area is Probability. Exceptional candidates may be considered from existing or emerging areas of research excellence in the department. The CRC Tier 2 is at the level of a tenure-track Assistant or tenured Associate Professor. Salary will be commensurate with experience and research record.
