Tenure-Track Position in Statistics

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Memorial University of Newfoundland has undergone significant faculty renewal in the past few years and the process continues. We now invite applications for a tenure-track appointment in Statistics at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position is subject to budgetary approval.

Applicants must have an earned doctorate. While an excellent record of publications in statistics is preferred, evident potential for research and the ability to attract external funding will suffice. In addition, candidates should have some teaching experience and the skills required to become an excellent teacher.

Duties for the position include graduate teaching and supervision, undergraduate teaching, and the development of a vigorous research programme.
