Applications are invited for one postodoctoral fellow in Mathematical Finance in the Department of Mathematics at Ryerson University (http://math.ryerson.ca/). The research will be led jointly by Drs. Marcos Escobar and Sebastian Ferrando.
Candidates should have experience and interest in research in mathematical and computational models and their applications to finance and economics. The successful applicant would have good knowledge of Stochastic Processes, Partial Differential Equations, Statistics and Mathematical Finance. Demonstrated computer programming skills would be an asset. A Ph.D degree is required at the time of the appointment. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses depending on availability.
Fellowships are open to candidates of any nationality, and selection will be based upon the candidate's research potential and teaching ability. Fellowship could start as early as October 1, 2013, subject to budgetary approval.
